Houston Southwest Church of the Nazarene is a community of Believers who seek to honor the Lord in all we do.

Houston Southwest Church of the Nazarene was organized on Easter Sunday, April 22, 1984 as the first Church of the Nazarene in Fort Bend County. From the beginning, Southwest Church has been a generous, loving, mission-minded church caring for the needs of others and praying and depending on God to supply those needs. The purpose of the church then, and now, is to preach the gospel of Christ to save from all sin and to provide a fellowship for their journey of faith. 

Southwest Church of the Nazarene is a part of the Church of the Nazarene with over 2.6 million members worshipping in more than 30,000 local congregations in 164 world areas. The church was founded in 1908 as the Lord brought together sincere believers who were experiencing the life-changing power of God in their revivals and church services.
